Troy has started, developed and managed several businesses, and is currently running multiple enterprises. Additionally, he has worked as a professional sales executive working in healthcare, construction, manufacturing, and software.
When Troy is not in the office, his Blue Sky co-workers have considered hanging a “Gone Golfing” sign on his door, because that is most likely where he is!
Troy loves skiing, hiking and traveling with his family, but also gets excited about hitting team targets and goals. Recruiting and building an exceptional team is what he enjoys most about his job, as well as working with great clients and professional service providers.

Jason has 20 years of professional experience in business operations and development. Having spent his entire career as an entrepreneur and business transformation consultant, he is well positioned to guide other business owners through their M&A options while coordinating all efforts to help ensure a successful outcome for each and every one of his clients.
Jason specializes in translating functions into repeatable processes and optimizing them for specific applications. His work in restaurant development and optimization, as well as his work in alternative fuel technology found success based entirely on Jason’s process optimization skill set.

Jason literally works 24/7 because he is that passionate about his job. However, when he actually does take a break he is usually found in the kitchen. Jason is a trained Chef through Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. He is always concocting some delicious culinary delight.

Amy holds years of experience as a small business specialist, director of valuations, and business and market value analysis specialist. Working with the CEO, she has helped to develop and perfect Blue Sky’s proprietary industry and operational analysis process.

Honored as one of the 40 under 40 key difference makers of 2017 by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, Amy has a keen eye for translating financial statements into a picture of the inner workings of an operation. TWO KIDS, THREE KITTIES, AND A HAMSTER
For starters, Amy is a Girl Scout Leader and served as a paralegal in the Army, so you know she is someone you want to have around! She loves creating relationships with the potential partners and is never the person to talk about business first.
Amy has two kids, three kitties and a hamster. She is also super crafty, which is probably one of the reasons she is great at thinking outside the box. She will try and make anything once, from costumes and friendship bracelets to string art. Amy loves talking about kids, family and hobbies while creating personal relationships with Blue Sky clients and helping them succeed.
Alan brings 30 years of experience in the financial industry, founding / co-founding two asset management businesses. Alan specializes in asset allocation, the investment selection process, and the selection and oversight of fund managers and analysts. His experience includes 25+ years of direct oversight of funds ranging from $500M to $2B+ in AUM.
Alan is well versed in the development of risk registers and risk development models spanning multiple disciplines and investment strategies. He has extensive experience in developing overall fund strategies including risk management, financial control, compliance, operation, and marketing. Alan brings a wealth of knowledge and insights to guide the Blue Sky Capital Team in a diligent and methodical approach to investment.

When Alan is not working you are most likely to find him in the kitchen, or in front of his BBQ. A day out in the Rockies is never a bad day for Alan. Getting away in nature is the best way to recharge his batteries. Alan is forever a student of world economic and political affairs. Alan’s greatest strength (and weakness) is that he always strives for the best and is his own greatest critic. Never satisfied, and always striving to do better. To Alan, values are extremely important, this is best seen in his commitment to his teammates, and the clients they serve.

During his career, Ed has directed the market assessment and development of a strategic plan to reverse approximately $5 million annual operating loss of an integrated regional health care provider. The effort included market and industry assessment to identify opportunities and threats created by a shift in the reimbursement system and an emerging competitive environment.
The plans resulted in a redesigned delivery system, new “brand” positioning, downsized operations ($5.3 million annual savings), identification of key new opportunities and brand repositioning. A plan was developed and implemented within 120 days and returned the institution to profitability and market share growth within one year.
